RABIDT MANIFESTOR...

...a 10 minute musical exquisite corpse exploring the lighter side of population infestations. complete with clay, felt, cardboard, pipe cleaners, various asundry sparkly beads and baubles, broken glass, shredded paper, pins and needles, paint, sharpie markers, rocks, dirt, sticks, stones, and duct tape.

eleven musicians were given one track each to record an improvised musical commentary while watching the mystery film for the very first time. no extravagant orchestral maneuvers. just plain and simple straight up reactions.

the catch-- musical tracks were recorded one musician at a time, and no headphones were allowed. everyone had to create a single, solitary piece of music on the spot. no clues, no hints, no suggestions. and absolutely no idea what anyone else had played.

in the end, all of the tracks were mixed together musically and then added to the film. no cutting or pasting or sampling. all of the noises represented were inspired by the actual scenes they accompany.

check the merch page in the near future for available dvd copies of Rabidt Manifestor. to watch the film, listen to the soundtrack, or download the audio/video, follow the link at the top of the page to Muted Tones.
